A few months back, my husband decided to have his Kindle 2 replaced by its new version (the black one after Kindle DX) and since then, this baby Kindle 2 has become my property.
My first impression toward my husband’s generosity was “eh..” as you may already know, I am not a tech-savvy at all. I preferred the old way, aka the regular books which you have to turn pages to read on. Then I sort of played with it every once in a while as I thought it would be nice to find out what it had to offer. Then you know.. we dated; we got to know each other; and we felt in love, although we’ve got separated a lot as most of my time is occupied by Sam lol. Anyway, the nice thing about my Kindle is that it ended the era of Sam trying to turn all the pages for me before I even had a chance to look at one word. It also gives me something to do/read at the park while watching Sam playing, without having to look like a nerd..
So, my first official date with Kindle was ChefMD – a great source for healthy eaters. It is an informative, yet very amusing and fun book to read. I learned a good deal bout food while being able to see how we’ve been keeping up on the healthy track. I also told my mom that I would translate a great part of the book into Vietnamese and send it to her. It has been a few months now and I haven’t been able to find time to do as I said. Isn’t it what happens to us all these days: so many things to do, so little time to actually do them?
All in all, I love food, making yummy food, and talking about it. It makes me feel hungry now, even just thinking and writing about it . Why not go into the kitchen and make something, as we know..
Hunger is always the best sauce.
